WESTPEX will host a Tiffany Dinner on Thursday, April 27, 2006, the eve of the 46th annual WESTPEX Stamp Show at the San Francisco Airport Marriott Hotel. This is a fund raising event for the American Philatelic Society. Featured speakers are APS President Janet Klug and APS Executive Director Robert E. Lamb who will discuss the American Philatelic Center in Bellefonte, PA and what it offers the hobby. The event begins at 7:00 pm with no-host cocktails; followed with a three-course Surf and Turf dinner at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $100 per person with $40 of that to be a tax deductible donation to the APS. Visitors to the WESTPEX Stamp Show are cordially invited. This is the first time the APS has had a Tiffany Dinner at a World Series of Philately show. WESTPEX will match up to a total of $1,000 in new pledges to the APS made by guests at this dinner.
